Description
Mc Three Carpets, a Belgian manufacturer of woven carpets has announced it will be shutting down all of its activities. The company management has been looking for a new buyer for its plant for several months. However, no interested party was found, forcing the company to close. All 278 employees are at risk of dismissal. The company has been struggling with ongoing competition from low wage countries for years. In addition, recent economic drawbacks like the Brexit, financial crisis and the recent inflation has led to excessive costs for the company to continue.
