European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
ManoMano, the online retailer specializing in DIY, has announced a restructuring plan, which could lead to the dismissal of 230 employees, out of which 150 workers in France and 80 in Spain. According to management, ManoMano's growth strategy is encountering difficulties due to several factors such as the war in Ukraine, inflation, rising interest rates and a decrease in investment within technology sector.
The French restructuring event ManoMano 2023 - France has also been recorded in the ERM database as well as the following previous EU level restructuring events ManoMano 2019 - EU and ManoMano 2020 - EU.
