Description
Bose, an international producer of audio equipment, has announced that it will dismiss 150 employees at its facility in Tongeren, in the light of the closure of the facility.
Half of the jobs to be cut are those of blue-collar workers, and half of the jobs are white collar jobs. The facility is a distribution centre for the company. The company management states it intends to work with an external logistics partner in the future to manage its supply chain in Europe. As is prescribed by the Renault Law, a consultation and negotiations with the trade unions will now take place.
