Description
The retail company Billa Bulgaria, part of the REWE group, will invest nearly 50 million BGN (25.5 mil. Euro) in the construction of a new warehouse near Stara Zagora. The objective of the new warehouse is to serve the regions of Central and Southern Bulgaria. According to the plan, the warehouse base will open in the beginning of 2025 and will create more than 200 new jobs.
The new logistics depot will cover a total area of about 55 000 sq. m., and the area of the warehouses will be 16 500 square meters. It will be divided into sectors with dry and refrigerated storage. An administrative part will also be built. This is the company's second warehouse in Bulgaria after the one near Sofia, and the reason for the investment is the chain's expansion in the region.
