Description

The Colonna Group, specialized in the business of group insurance, has announced the loss of 99 jobs out of a workforce of 300. The Romorantin site will lose a third of its workforce. When the termination of the contracts was announced in June, it had been stated that around 150 job losses would be affected. The job cuts are the result of the termination of social protection management contracts in the hotel and catering sector, a decision made jointly by the two social protection groups Klesia and Malakoff Humanis. During the most recent tender process, Colonna's proposal was rejected. According to the CGT union, the existing contracts with the key stakeholders are set to expire on December 1, when dismissal procedures will commence.
