Description

The EDF nuclear power plant in Gravelines (Nord) has announced that it will be recruiting 200 employees between now and 2026. This is in addition to the 82 permanent employees and 60 apprentices already recruited in 2023. The site produced 28.2 TWh of low-CO2 electricity, covering the equivalent needs of 61% of the annual electricity consumption of the Hauts-de-France region. The recruitment follows the government's announcement of the revival of this nuclear power station, where two EPR 2 plants will be built between 2026 and 2032.

Job dating events will be held for the recruitment from next year. In addition to EDF recruiting, the work will generate recruitment by its partners between now and 2025, who will need to recruit 1,600 employees in logistics, piping, mechanics, valves and electrical engineering, etc.
