Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Hatboru, a Turkish pipe manufacturer company in partnership with a local entrepreneur, announced that it completed the expansion of its Giurgiu (Giurgiu County) plant. The company inaugurated a new production unit following an investment of about €10.5 million. Hatboru aims to hire more than 100 persons in the coming months.
The company advertised positions for machine operators and specialists in plastic deformation, welding and non-destructive testing. The pipe produced in Giurgiu County will be used for pipelines for natural gas, crude oil, petroleum products, water supply, sewerage, heating, road and bridge construction, shoreline reinforcement and port extensions.
The company entered on the Romanian market in 2008.
