Description
Husky Technologies, an injection molding systems manufacturer headquartered in Canada, is planning to cut 155 jobs at its Dudelange, Luxembourg site. This restructuring results from the decision to close the site's special lock department due to poor economic performance.
Trade Unions have rejected the possibility of establishing a redundancy plan and are calling for meetings with the management in order to implement measures such as a job maintenance plan, with the aim of avoiding job losses.
The Dudelange site currently employs 1,000 employees, and the special lock department was relocated from Austria to Luxembourg in 2019.
