Description

The German energy service provider and grid operator Hansewerk has announced the creation of 250 jobs at its locations in the head offices in Quickborn and Rendsburg as well as in the entire Schleswig-Holstein region.

The reason behind this business expansion is the planned record investment of more than €1.25 billion over the next three years to convert the energy supply to renewable energies, the share of which is to triple by 2030. The jobs that are being created are especially for skilled workers in the field of electrical engineering as well as IT specialists, but also for heating technicians and commercial employees.

Eon is the majority shareholder of Hansewerk, which has more than 3 million customers in northern Germany. The Hansewerk Group wants to be climate-neutral by 2030.
