Description

British Automotive Holding, a Polish nationwide Jaguar and Land Rover car dealer, has declared bankruptcy and, as a result, 133 employees will be made redundant.

On August 30, 2023, the company announced its immediate cessation of operations due to a decision by the creditors' assembly of its parent group, British Automotive Holding. A proposed settlement was rejected and it was decided to file for bankruptcy. The firm also had outstanding obligations to Land Rover Jaguar, its largest creditor, who opposed the settlement proposal for not meeting the sales target. All entities in the Polish British Automotive Holding group will be included in the bankruptcy process, and the employees and board members will be laid of.

British Automotive Holding, together with its affiliated enterprises, was distributing cars, spare parts, accessories and comprehensive servicing of the Jaguar and Land Rover brands on the Polish market. Authorised Jaguar Land Rover dealerships operated in Warsaw, Gdansk, Katowice and Lodz.
