Description
Marmite, a manufacturer of composite shower trays and bathtubs, will lay off all 200 employees at its factory in Łowyń due to its closure. The restructuring will be executed starting on the 01.09.2023, and is expected to be completed by 30.11.2023. The workers affected by this restructuring are primarily factory workers. The reason for the closure of the factory is the economic situation in the markets to which Marmite supplies its products - primarily Germany, France and Italy. The employees affected by the restructuring have the opportunity to transfer to a distant manufacturing site of Marmite in Zakrzewo. 60-80% of the employees are expected to make use of this. Those who do not participate will be made redundant.
