Description
Marklin is a German producer of toys, famous for producing locomotive models. In recent years, the company has adopted cost saving strategies, which involved offshoring and relocation to China. However, in 2015 the company invested in a plant in Gyor (Hungary) in order to nearshore production. Sources are not clear regarding the number of new jobs created through the nearshoring.
