European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Steelco is an Italian company producing medical washer, disinfectors, and sterilizers. It was acquired in 2017 by the German group Miele. In spring 2018, the company opened a new plant in Italy (Riese Pio X) to backs-shore production activities it had offshored in Austria and Germany in the last decades. The investment in the new plant will permit the company to hire around 60 new people.
