European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Tata Motor is part of the larger Tata group, an Indian company that sells products for mor than 100 billions dollars per year. The company bought Jaguar and Land Rover producing cars under those brands in UK and India. However, during last year it has been demonstrated the willingness to mantain British site production investing there. Investments in British sites have allowed the company to start the production of a new car each 20 seconds.
