Description

Welltec is a Danish company that develops and provides well technologies and solutions for the oil and gas industry. The company outsourced its production to the low cost countries. It is reported that Welltec invested in robotics in the plant located in Allerød (Denmark), replacing manual labor. This investment has improved efficiency significantly and so it has been possible to bring part of the productions from Poland back to Denmark. In addition, this investment will maintain jobs in Denmark rather than moving them abroad.
