Sleipner Motor is a Norwegian company which is based in Fredrikstad (Norway). The company has manufactured high quality parts for the marine industry since 1908. Specifically, it produces thruster, hydraulic steering and stabilizers among other products. Sleipner Motor is a world leader in thrusters for yachts under 160 feet with its Side-Power thrusters. According to Arne Skauen, a head of Sleipner Motor in Fredrikstad (Norway), the products made in the offshore country (China) was characterized by low quality and unsatisfactory delivery times. As a result, Sleipner Motor moved its production from China back to Norway.
