Description

Schaeffler Kysuce, formerly known as INA Kysuce, a producer of  bearings for the automotive industry, opened its Research & Development (R&D) centre, which develops products and components for e-mobility and intelligent chassis systems. The R&D centre will require 150 new job positions to be filled, adding to the 350 already existent within the company.

The hires started immediately and are expected to be completed by the beginning of 2025. All jobs are positions within R&D for automotive industry, specifically bearings.

The investment is in the range of €20 mil. and is part of larger group of  20 R&D centres globally.

Schaeffler Kysuce  (see previous factscheets named INA INA Kysuce 2013 - SK) is one of the main employers in Kysuce region, one of the less developed regions in Slovakia. At the moment, the company employs workers from 20 countries, the Balkan countries being the largest group, after Slovakia.
