Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Trumpf Hüttinger, a company that develops and manufactures modern industrial electronics, is opening a new production facility in Warsaw where it will employ 600 people by the end of 2023. The jobs that are being created are especially in the area of production and engineering. According to the president of the company, the business is expanding due to the ability and resources of Trumpf Hüttinger in Poland to increase design and production. The new production facility will be one of four production sites in Warsaw.
Trumpf Hüttinger is a group of more than 70 companies with production facilities in Europe, Asia, North and South America, producing power electronics for plasma applications, induction heating, and CO2 laser excitation.
