Description
Bolt, an Estonian mobility app, intends to recruit 100 people in Romania by the end of 2023. The company is looking for IT engineers and programmers at its IT development centre in Bucharest. In addition, Bolt offers employment opportunities for local operations management and coordination roles for both ride hailing and micro-mobility. The company currently employs 270 persons at its Bucharest office, and aims to hire an additional 100 until the end of 2023. Romania is among the few countries where the Estonian company has developed a dedicated engineering hub, which plays an important role in the constant development of Bolt features. The relevance of the hub in Bucharest is the reason for the business expansion.
The company has on-demand transport services, electric scooter rental, food delivery (Bolt Food), food and non-food delivery (Bolt Market) and its software development division in Romania, which serves all of the company's European subsidiaries. In Romania, Bolt offers services in 25 cities. A previous business expansion of Bolt in Romania has previously been recorded (Bolt-2022-RO).
