Yeast producer, Lesaffre Ingredients Services Polska, is expanding its plant in Legnica creating 130 new jobs. The new jobs will predominantly be production workers and laboratory staff. LIS Polska is a complement to the industrial drying activities of LIS France using modern and efficient installations, the new drying tower opened on 15 June 2023, initially 13 people were employed and this year the plant will employ another 130 people. Lesaffre is the world's largest producer of yeast. A subsidiary of LIS France (LIS Poland) was established in 2000 in Legnica.
