Description

Veepee, a french multinational online retailer has announced it will close its distribution facility in Beersel and 59 employees will lose their jobs. The company wants to centralise its distribution branches in Spain and France and therefore closes other distribution facilities outside those countries. All employees active within the branch in Beersel face dismissal. As described in the Renault-Law, consultation and negotiations with trade unions have been initiated. It is possible that the ultimate number of dismissals will be reduced or the facility finds a new owner.
