Description
SII Romania, a provider of technical services and IT solutions, announced the creation of 100 new positions for software engineers. The expansion is expected to involve the company's centre in Bucharest and to be completed by 1 April 2024. The job creation is driven by the increase in turnover registered by the company during the past year and plans for further consolidation of its position on the Romanian market. Between 2022 and 2023, the company had an annual turnover of €33 million, an increase of approximately 68% compared to the previous fiscal year. According to a company press release, the growth is due to the expansion of the client portfolio, through local and international expansion, and an increase in the number of projects in both divisions.
In June 2023 the company had a workforce of 650 in Romania. The SII Group was founded in 1977 and employs over 16,000 software engineers across 100 locations spread over 4 continents.
