European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Croatian Post, national postal operator, is looking for 108 postmen for ordinary or express delivery, 17 operators in post offices, six night-time newspaper deliverers, two professional drivers and one cleaner. In recent years, the Croatian Post has faced numerous departures, primarily due to low wages, and many postmen have changed their profession or gone abroad to work, so the company has a serious problem with filling vacant positions. The trade unions also warn on unfavourable situation, stating that such a situation is unsustainable in the long term. In the tender for new positions, the requirement for a postman is elementary school or a three-year high school. However, the Croatian Post does not reveal what is their salary.
