Carrefour, the French supermarket chain, is to restructure its head offices in France through a voluntary redundancy plan involving just under 1,000 employees at the group's three head offices in France, in Massy and Évry (Essonne) and Mondeville (Calvados). In France, Carrefour employs around 85,000 people - and more than 100,000 including franchised shops. Some 10% of the integrated workforce work in one of the group's three head offices.
