Description

Alliance Healthcare Répartition (AHR), Europe's leading pharmaceutical distribution and healthcare products wholesaler, has announced a reorganisation of its sites in France, with the closure of 5 out of 45 centres and the loss of around 100 jobs. The Auray, Angoulême, Auxerre, Niort and Pau sites are affected.

The company has been taken over by drug wholesaler AmerisourceBergen in 2021. AHR has 45 sites in France and employs 2,000 people. Accompanying measures are being negotiated.

A previous reorganisation has been recorded in the ERM Databanse with 250 job losses in 2019 (FR-Alliance-Healthcare-Répartition-2019)
