European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The factory of SaarGummi, a manufacturer of automotive gaskets, has opened in Sędziszów Małopolski and will ultimately employ 700-800 people.The establishment of the new factory has been planned for six years, the new plant is to be responsible for 100% of component production; the opening of the factory took place on 23 May, the core team has already been recruited, and recruitment for production positions is currently underway.SaarGummi specialises in the production of automotive gaskets, which are used in doors, windows and the boot of vehicles; the company has factories in various parts of Europe.
