LinkedIn has announced plans to undergo a global restructuring which includes plans to dismiss 716 employees. The CEO has stated the job cuts will target sales, operations and support teams. Further, the restructuring has been attributed to streamlining the company's operations and removal of 'layers' for more efficient decision-making. The restructuring also includes the company pulling its app, InCareers, out of the Chinese market. The company's European and Latin American headquarters are based in Wilton Park, Dublin, employing 2000 people.
