Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The Renault factory at Sandouville (Seine-Maritime) has announced the recruitment of 155 people between now and the summer, including 105 on permanent contracts and 50 on fixed-term contracts (without specifying the duration of these contracts). The factory is looking for young people as well as more experienced profiles, for managerial, technical and operator positions in manufacturing, maintenance and logistics.
This commitment to recruit 155 employees is part of the "Renouveau France 2025" company-level agreement, signed between management and the FO, CFDT and CFE-CGC unions. The decision follows the numerous orders for the Trafic commercial vehicle. The site currently has 2,481 employees, including 761 temporary workers. Following a first wave of hiring during the winter of 2022, 360 positions have been created on this site in less than a year. The plant had 1,612 employees as of 31 December 2022
Three former recruitment announcements have been recorded in the ERM Database, with 183 job creations in 2016 (FR-Renault-Sandouville-2016), 300 job creations in 2014 (FR-Renault-Sandouville-2014) and 400 job creations in 2012 (FR-Renault-Sandouville-2014).
