European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Sogeclair group, which is specialised in engineering and technical studies, has announced it will begin recruitment on 25 May 2023 to recruit 150 employees in the Toulouse region. The company covers a wide range of fields, from production solutions to thermoplastics, including the creation of simulators for train and metro drivers, as well as the fitting out of private jets, the manufacture of drones for the defence industry and space-related activities. All profiles and levels of qualification are welcome, including in areas such as mechanical designer, mechanical engineer, software engineer, operators, project managers anin support functions (communication, recruitment, IT, etc.). The group had sharply reduced its workforce during the Covid-19 crisis from 1,633 employees worldwide in 2019 to 1,398 in 2020 and 1,130 in 2021. Turnover fell from €104 million in 2019 to €65 million in 2020 and €57 million in 2021.
A former restrcuturing event has been recorded in the ERM Database in 2020 with 245 job cuts (FR-Sogeclair-Aerospace-2020).
