Description

EvoBus, a truck and bus manufacturer based in Germany, will completely transfer the production of bodywork for buses from its plants in Germany and France to the Czech city of Holýšov near Pilsen by 2028. For this reason, the company in the Czech Republic is expanding its production and continuously hiring new workers. According to information from the Pilsen Labor Office, EvoBus is currently looking for up to 300 people.

EvoBus is a wholly owned subsidiary of Daimler Truck whose decision to move the production is part of changes in German factories aimed at reducing costs and ensuring the competitiveness of German plants.

EvoBus, which assembles Mercedes-Benz and Setra buses, has been operating in Holýšov for 25 years. About 1,000 people are employed in the Holýšov factory.
