Description

Automotive conglomerate Stellantis has announced it is opening a software development centre in Gliwice, Poland, for which 300 specialists are currently being recruited. This will be the company's fourth such centre in Europe and eighth overall.

Specialists employed at the new centre will be involved in data analytics and software development for cars of the Stellantis group. The site is situated near a unit where vans from the brands Opel, Peugeot, and Citroen are manufactured. The team within this new Polish centre will focus on core software development, software application development, DevOps and automated validation.

Stellantis N.V. is a multinational automotive manufacturing corporation formed in 2021 on the basis of a 50–50 cross-border merger between the Italian-American conglomerate Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and the French PSA Group. The company is headquartered in Amsterdam. In 2021 Stellantis was the world's fifth-largest automaker.
