Description
A Swedish payment solutions company, Ecster, will close and 169 workers in Sweden will be made redundant. The company has been for sale since 2020 but now the parent company has decided to close Ecster completely.
The closure of the company is because of the current macroeconomic situation, which has made it difficult to sell the company.
Ecster is a payment solutions company and a subsidiary of Handelsbanken, a larger internationally active Swedish banking group. The company has more than 200 employees in Sweden and Finland, 169 of them in Sweden.
