Description
The SNCF, which wants to strengthen its teams in the Hauts-de-France region, for its regional express transport (TER) activities, has launched a vast recruitment campaign for 450 employees. All professions are concerned: TER train drivers, conductors, station agents, maintenance agents, station sales staff and resource managers. The SNCF organised a recruitment forum at the Gare du Nord in Paris on 24 January. Training sessions are planned for certain positions. Candidates selected to become drivers will then leave for a 12-month training course at an SNCF training centre. Recently, drivers at Beauvais station went on strike to protest against staff shortages and poor working conditions.
