Description
As announced on 30 January 2023, the German restaurant delivery company Delivery Hero, will be cutting 156 jobs due to internal restructuring in Germany. The job restructuring has become necessary due to a weakening demand in order to reduce costs and become profitable for the first time. Mainly affected by the reduction will be employees at Delivery Hero’s headquarter in Berlin working in administration. As of today, there are no information on timeframe nor the kind of reduction available.
Currently, there are approximately 3,900 employees at Delivery Hero’s headquarter in Berlin.
A previous expansion has been recorded in the ERM database, where Delivery Hero created 1000 jobs in Germany (Delivery Hero-2020-DE).
