Description
Low-cost supermarket retailer Aldi has announced plans to create 360 new jobs in Ireland in 2023. This follows hiring of 450 new roles in 2022. The company has said the new roles are a result of the its ongoing expansion in Ireland. Aldi also announced it would be adopting a ‘Living Wage’ for all staff from February 1 2023, increasing its minimum pay to €13.85 per hour.
Aldi currently has 155 stores employing over 4,650 people in Ireland and is to open a further six shops this year.
In 2022, Aldi announced as recruitment campaign in Ireland for Glaway and Mayo, creating 140 jobs (Aldi-2022-IE).
