Description
The Danish part of Postnord is catering for postal services in Denmark. The company is under fierce competition from other companies delivering packages. Due to rising costs the company will dismiss 100 employees in production and distribution. Especially higher costs on fuel and electricity as well as rising inflation and declining trust from consumers has put the company under pressure. The company has already dismissed 122 employees and managers during 2022 to cut costs (Postnord-2022-DK), but needs to cut costs further. While the swedish branch of Postnord had a surplus of 65 million swedish kroner in the third quarter of 2022, the danish branch had a deficit of 70 million swedish kroner.
