Description
As announced on 9 December 2022, the French-based automotive service provider Segula Automotive will be cutting 100 jobs at its site in Rüsselsheim due to internal restructuring. Affected employees – most of whom are not paid under collective bargaining agreements, have already transferred to a 12-month transfer company on 1 December 2022. Additionally, another 50 employees will attend further training courses on e-mobility in cooperation with the Federal Labour Office (BA) with the goal to qualify for new vacancies at Segula. According to IG Metall information, the job reduction is necessary to compensate for high costs and a lack of orders.
