European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Action, a Dutch company specialised in non-food retail activities, has recently announced it will be expanding its workforce in Poland by 1,000 new employees. The company has a chain of 256 shops across all 16 Polish provinces. Additionally, last year the company opened a logistics centre in Bieruń, as well as a record 81 new stores, with plans to open another 81 in 2023. Because of that expansion, Action anticipates hiring 1,000 employees.
Action started its operations in Poland in 2017. Currently, the company employs over 3,200 people in Poland.
