Description

Swedish solar cell manufacturer Svea Solar will recruit 800 new employees globally in 2023, including several hundred in Sweden. The recruitment covers several occupations from technicians to salespersons and IT developers.

In response to the electricity price shock, the Swedish government has decided to introduce an increase in the tax reduction for the installation of solar cells, making the purchase of solar panels more affordable for the consumers. This has led to an increase in demand. According to Svea Solar's CEO, labour shortage is a challenge for recruitment.

Svea Solar is a Swedish solar cell manufacturer with operations in Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, and Belgium. Globally, the company employs more than 1,200 people.
