Description
Elemental Strategic Metals, a company that extracts metals out of used batteries from electronic equipment, has announced it will open a new plant in Zawiercie, where it will create 150 new jobs. The recruitment campaign will be aimed at filling various roles for technical and administrative staff. The plant will become operational in the third quarter of 2023 and recruitment will take place alongisde the construction process.
The new plant, which will specialise in secondary production of metals, including lithium and cobalt, and precious metals such as platinum, palladium and rhodium, is part of a PLN 380,000,000 battery recycling investment plan co-financed through the European Regional Development Fund.
