Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Mondial Relay, a logistics company specialised in the collection of small parcels (up to 30kg) from its network of 6,500 "relay points" set up in small local shops, has announced the recruitment of 500 employees in 2023. The new employees will be hired on permanent contracts. Three quarters of the jobs to be filled are mainly in operational positions, branch managers and operations managers. These positions are open throughout France, but mostly in the Ile-de-France region. The the remaining jobs on offer, mainly in the Hauts-de-France region, will be in support services - sales, network, accounting and finance, marketing, digital, IT, human resources, project management, and others,
Two former recruitments were recorded in the ERM Database: 150 job creations in 2019 (FR-Mondial-Relay-2019) and 100 in 2018 (FR-Mondial-Relay-2018).
