Description

Wendre is one of the Europe's largest producers of bedding products. This company is located in Pärnu (Estonia) and belongs Trading House Scandinavia AB group. Wendre has 4 factories in Estonia, plus production facilities in Finland, Poland, Russia, and China. In 2016, Wendre earned 106.3 million euro with turnover of 7.5 million euro which raised 28% from 2015. Exporting accounts for 95% of the company's overall turnover. The largest export markets were the United Kingdom and Sweden where turnover were 25.8 million and 13.3 million euro respectively, followed by the United States and Germany (10.9 million and 10.7 million euro turnover respectively). The Finnish market turnover increased the most, 148 percent of the sales (about 8.9 million euro). The company's employee number is around 844. Wendre planned to relocate Familon's bed manufacturing from Finland back to Estonia and also move Style Station Garden's operations from Sweden to Estonia in 2017. In addition, Wendre would start to produce sofas in Maardu (Estonia).
