Description
The Portugal-based White Airways from the charter airline - Omni Aviation SGPS group - will proceed with a collective dismissal of 120 workers: 60 cabin crew, 50 pilots and 10 administrative crew. The bad financial situation of the company is the main reason pointed out by the company. Since the end of October, after the loss of the contract with TAP, White Airways' financial situation has deteriorated significantly.
In the next year, the charter company will operate only with minimum services of 40 employees in order to avoid losing the Air Operator Certificate.
