Description
Pipedrive, a company developing sales management software, announced they will dismiss 143 employees globally. Around half of the employees work in Estonia, accounting for around 12.7% of their current Estonian workforce. The technology manager of Pipedrive explained that various alternatives were considered instead of dismissal. However, as a result of the deteriorated economic situation globally, the had to change their business and product strategies and could not avoid dismissal.
Pipedrive was founded in Estonia in 2010 and is one of the few Estonia's unicorns. Their offices situate in various countries in the EU and in the USA, employing more than 1,000 employees, of which 557 in Estonia.
