Description

The French insurance group Axa has announced the elimination of around one hundred positions within its subsidiary Axa Group Operations (GO), the insurance giant's central structure in charge of technology. The aim of the reorganisation is to focus the subsidiary's missions on higher value-added services.

The departure plan was the subject of an agreement with the trade unions, signed on 17 October 2022. These measures, which aim to improve competitiveness, are taking place in a difficult social context marked by ongoing salary negotiations. A negotiation meeting is scheduled for 17 November, after the workplace elections within the group. In addition, a departure plan for just under 100 employees was signed in another Axa subsidiary, Axa Partners, last July.

This subsidiary employs about 8,000 worldwide.
