The Pierre et Vacances group, the European leader in the tourist residences sector, notably with its Center Parcs brand, has announced a reorganisation that aims to cut 105 jobs, mainly in its payroll and accounting departments in France, and outsource a large part of these functions to Mauritius. The group, announced this reorganisation project to staff representatives at the beginning of October. The main measure is the outsourcing of payroll and accounting activities which will be transferred to Accenture by the end of the first half of 2023. At this stage, this costs-cutting project will result in the loss of 82 positions in accounting, 13 in payroll and 10 in the major projects department of Pierre et Vacances, at the head office and on certain sites in France, plus a few in the Netherlands. The group employs 12,000 people.
