Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The Canadian consultancy Global Delivery Center Iberia (CGI), which employs more than 2,000 people in Portugal, will recruit 400 new workers by the end of the year. 40% of the new workers will be newly graduate to support the company's growth and speed up digital transformation.
To accommodate the workers, the consultancy opened new offices in Parque das Nações - Lisbon - which will serve more than 30 clients from various sectors, such as utilities, industry, the public sector and transport, not only in Europe but also in North America.
