European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Finnish company Itella Logistics providing transportation services is expanding its activities in Lithuania and will create around 200 new jobs in Kaunas. On 13 October 2022, the company opened a new logistics centre in Kaunas. Currently the company employs 203 employees in Vilnius.
Itella Logistics was established in Lithuania in 2002. 100% of the company's shares are owned by the Posti Group Corporation. Since 2020, Itella Logistics has been developing the Smartpost parcel terminal network in Lithuania. The turnover of Itella Logistics increased by 30.2% in 2021.
