European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Starbucks Corporation, an American multinational chain of coffeehouses, opened its 19th store in Milan creating 20 new jobs, and plans to open 17 more stores in northern and central Italy, leading to the hiring of another 280 people by 2023.
The General Manager of Starbucks Italy commented on the new store opening, affirming their willingness to continue investing in Italy, using new formats, starting with take-away (the store is in fact only 20 square metres with 7 seats).
