European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
ILC Dover, an American pharmaceutical equipment manufacturer, is opening a production site in Gliwice and plans to create at least 100 jobs there. Most of the workers are expected to be directly involved in manufacturing. The reason behind the recruiment is the intention for the company globally expand its supply capabilities. The plant will initially manufacture single-use liquid bags, single-use powder bags, and single-use fluid transfer assemblies. The announcement was welcomed by the local authorities, including the Katowice Special Economic Zone.
ILC Dover employs more than 2,000 employees worldwide.
